The third round of the Public Sector Energy Conservation Agreement (PSECA) is underway with $25 million in B.C. government grants available. For this round of funding, the grant has been split into various funding sectors which include:

  • $2 million for Solar Thermal Projects (administered by SolarBC); (application deadline Oct. 1 2010)
  • $5 million open call for proposals to all provincial public sector organizations, as was done in the first two years of the program;
  • $6 million for K-12 schools throughout the province for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) retrofits; and, (application deadline Aug 20th 2010)
  • $12 million for district energy system projects.

A broad list of public sector organizations are eligble for the funding including:

  • Ministries and Agencies
  • Boards of Education
  • Universities/Colleges
  • Health Authorities
  • Crown corporations
