{Note: There is currently no funding available for Schools, all grants have been allocated at this time.] SolarBC recently announced an increase in funding for the installation of solar hot water systems on schools. School districts are able to apply to the federal government’s ecoENERGY for Renewable Heat Program for subsidies. Solar BC will then provide 90% of the cost of the solar hot water system after the ecoENERGY subsidy is deducted. SolarBC’s portion of the rebates is funded by the Province of British Columbia.
