A Brief History of the Company
TerraTek was formed in 2004. We specialize in renewable energy systems, with a primary focus on solar thermal, photovoltaic, small scale wind and micro-hydro energy production. In-house capabilities include design, specification, system supply and installation. Throughout South-western British Columbia, TerraTek has successfully designed, supplied and installed hundreds of systems for residential, multi-residential and commercial applications.
Quality products and exceptional installations have always been the driving force behind the company and that is reflected by TerraTek winning the Solar BC contractor of the year award in 2008, and again in 2009. We maintain quality by supplying the most reliable products and having all of our work completed by in-house certified solar installers and certified tradesmen.
Terratek is a licensed Electrical Contractor (#102707) and Plumbing Contractor. Our staff are qualified by the Canadian Solar Industry Association (CanSIA) as solar thermal installers, certified SolarBC installers, and include University trained Renewable Energy Technicians. Some of our staff are also LEED Accredited Professionals ( LEED AP) and members of the ASTTBC (Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of British Columbia).
